Were changing that by connecting travelers to customized insurance solutions that deliver the right insurance at the right price, right where and when they need it.


At battleface, we operate at the intersection of underwriting, assistance, claims, and technology. As a fast-growing global travel insurance MGA and TPA, our financial operations are complex, evolving, and critical to the business. Were looking for a hands-on Finance Manager Insurance Operations to help bring structure, insight, and scalability to our global insurance finance function.


Join an awesome team of developers working on web-based microservices systems hosted on AWS. Collaborate in a dynamic environment to build and maintain scalable, cloud-native solutions.


about the role: Participates in analysis and design activities to produce a viable system design that fits within the overall system architecture whilst addressing all the elicited requirements.


Designs, develops and maintains robust backend and frontend services in a wide range of technologies.


Follows established development and testing procedures to ensure quality software development that meets the requirements.


Creates and maintains documentation regarding systems being developed to ensure long-term maintainability.


about you: Were looking for a proficient Laravel developer with strong expertise in PHP and solid experience with Laravel or other web frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django, or similar). Experience working with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js is also required.

  • Experience with both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
  • Experience with Angular or other modern front-end frameworks is considered an asset
  • Clear and effective communicator with the ability to produce concise technical documentation and support software releases
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-directed team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines

  • Experience with Mono repos, Micro services and Kubernetes
  • Based in US EST Timezone
