Job description

Position Description:Develop, implement, and coordinate delivery of training programs to meet specific targeted audience goals and objectives.

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with local Business Unit (BU) Operations Managers, department managers, and content subject matter experts to identify training goals and document training needs.
  • Communicate and confirm required training with associated costs, and confirm training compliance with BU OM.
  • Design and develop training programs to address BU training needs, including materials, modules, and assessments to reflect latest standards for business operations to ensure relevant and accurate content.
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions and adapt training delivery methods to suit needs and learning styles of diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with BU stakeholders to coordinate and schedule training sessions aligned with appropriate level of facilitators and commitment of participants. Coordinate availability of training materials, facilities, and equipment for training sessions.
  • Conduct roster management for local BU training sessions and inform participants and facilitators of training session details. Maintain accurate training records in Learning Management System (LMS), track participant registrations, attendance, and evaluations.
  • Generate LMS reports on training activities aligned with BU training metrics to track program effectiveness and share with relevant stakeholders.
  • Apply various evaluation methods to assess effectiveness of training programs, analyze results to identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations for program enhancements.
  • Solicit feedback from external training facilitators and share course evaluations feedback to address areas for improvement related to content development and facilitation.
  • Maintain knowledge of local BU historical training information (e.g., relationships with training partners, venues, pricing projects). Collaborate with Knowledge & Learning Group (KLG) to source and coordinate external training programs and vendors, and evaluate proposals, review instructor rates, and understand contracts and delivery of services.
  • Collaborate with local BU HR to address employee career development needs and training-related inquiries.
  • Contribute local BU training needs in support of Knowledge & Learning (KLG) strategies and support annual training plan implementation.
  • Conduct research on emerging trends and best practices for training and development to enhance program effectiveness and compliance.
  • Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
