Job description

Our stakeholders, including the Advisor community and the Portfolio Management Group provide day to day management of Wealth Management discretionary accounts around the globe. With over $700 billion in assets under management, the MPS team partners closely with other Solutions teams, including the larger Investment Product Operations team, Chief Investment Office, Product, Manager Selection, Equity, Fixed Income, and Alternatives, to support strategy implementation to individual client accounts. The Managed Platform Services team serves a critical role in support of these teams so stakeholders can deliver the Firm's best thinking to our clients. 

As an Analyst within the managed Platform Services (MPS) team, you will support the cross line of business eco-system for Managed Accounts and will also be responsible for maintaining a continuous improvement mindset by participating in the manual process inventory reduction goals of the team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support to the user community across trading and general platform activities, escalating issues to associates as needed.
  • Gather and organize data for analysis; summarize findings and contribute recommendations for process improvements for review by senior team members.
  • Assist with data tasks, including basic reconciliations.
  • Help maintain and update procedures and process documentation to reflect changes in workflow and system behavior.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by inventorying manual steps in trading products quantifying effort and risk, and drafting user stories for small automation opportunities.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • At least 1+ years of experience in the wealth management/asset management industry or in a supporting role
  • Excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand business processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines / deliverables.
  • Willing to be a strong team player/ able to work cross-functionally
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex solutions. 
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, meticulous and strong people skills
  • Be a collaborator who shows commitment and dedication, and can maintain a positive attitude and prominent level of performance on high profile/time-sensitive initiatives.
  • Adaptability and openness to feedback
  • Proficient to advanced experience with Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, One Note and Word

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Investment management expertise/experience or security lifecycle is recommended.
  • Knowledge of multi-asset markets, products and processes recommended.
