Job Title:Student Marketing and Communications AssistantDepartment:Fisher College | Marketing and Communications

The Office of Marketing and Communications at the Max M. Fisher College of Business is seeking a Student Marketing & Communications Assistant for the 2026-2027 academic year.

This role is ideal for a highly motivated, wellconnected individual who is passionate about storytelling, campus involvement, and helping elevate the Fisher brand through authentic, realtime content that focuses on where students are, what they care about, and how Fisher shows up in their daily lives. This role works directly under the Social Media Associate to help blend handson content creation with brand execution, event marketing, everyday impactful moments and collaboration across student organizations and Fisher offices, units and teams.

Success in this role requires initiative, strong communication and personality skills, comfort navigating campus spaces, and the drive to proactively surface stories that reflect the Fisher experience. This position is hybrid with an oncampus presence required for events, content capturing, collaboration with other Fisher units and team meetings.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Strong visual and written communication skills, Familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or similar platforms, Active understanding of major social media platforms and student digital culture; Basic photography and videography skills with a desire to grow creatively.
