Responsibilities:
  • Define and own end-to-end validation strategy for cloud-connected telematics systems.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and validation frameworks across cloud sub-system.
  • Work closely with internal teams to clarify system requirements and interfaces.
  • Support system engineering activities, including cloud architecture and requirements.
  • Identify gaps in current validation approach and propose scalable test methodologies.
  • Drive issue investigation and root cause analysis across distributed systems.
  • Contribute to automation strategy for cloud/system-level validation (APIs, data pipelines, simulations, etc.).
  • Provide technical guidance to improve observability, reliability, and performance validation.
  • Drive alignment across internal stakeholders to improve system quality, validation processes, and engineering practices.
  • Proactively identify process gaps and influence teams to adopt scalable and standardized approaches.
  • Facilitate technical discussions and navigate cross-functional dependencies (cloud, device, data, OEM partners).
  • Act as a bridge between teams to translate technical challenges into actionable improvements.

Requirements:
  • 4-7 years of experience with IoT, telematics, and connected systems.
  • System engineering, PFMEA, DVP&R, ESW, PLM, with a background in system engineering or system-level validation (not just component testing).
  • Prior knowledge of cloud infrastructure validation, API contract testing, schema, and data pipeline validation experience.
  • Industry-standard best practices for cloud validation and automation.
  • Strong experience in cloud-based systems such as AWS, Azure, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with Dynatrace, MongoDB, and ArgoCD.
  • Understanding of data flow across connected devices, ECM, and cloud services.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into structured test plans.

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with CAN/J1939, telematics devices, or vehicle systems.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of data pipelines, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
  • Exposure to DevOps or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Comfortable challenging existing processes and pushing for continuous improvement.
  • Able to balance technical depth with strategic thinking.
