Job Title:Senior Reporting and Analytics AnalystDepartment:Health Sciences | Government Resource Center

The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) invites applications for a Senior Reporting and Analytics Analyst position ("Senior Researcher"). A successful applicantmayengage in applied health services, qualityimprovementand/orpopulation health research inaproject-based team setting.This roleisprimarilyfocusedon creatingandmaintainingadvancedinteractive data visualizations(dashboards)usingR-Shinywithin a team-oriented and project-based setting.

Additional responsibilities are project-specific and may include combinations of the following: cleaning, processing, and creating analytic datasets from a variety of sources; assisting with the development of measures from complex, multidimensional data sources; identifying and learning novel and improved practices for data management, analysis, interpretation, and reporting; composing reports, whitepapers, and presentation materials; assisting with the presentation of results to project sponsors and other audiences; computing summaries and descriptive statistics; and providing technical assistance for statistical programming.

Senior Researchers are expected to perform mainly technical skill tasks, but in somecases,they may also contribute toprojectleadershipand administration. They are expected to complete work independently on tasks with moderate complexity while assisting or completing advanced complexity tasks with appropriate assistance and oversight. Senior Researchers typically work on multiple projects at a time and have significant project responsibilities.

Minimum Education Required:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required.

Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or 2 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree in a relevant field of study is required.

Requires successful completion of a background check. The selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.

Candidates selected for an interview may be asked to provide a writing sample and a code sample.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrable experience with the R statistical computing environment for datamanipulationand analysis with consideration for team-based code development; experience developing andmaintaininginteractive visualizations using R-Shiny; experience with statistical analysis, experience with data manipulation in SAS and/or SQL; experience in spatial analysis and mapping using ArcGIS Pro; experience developing andmaintaininginteractive visualizations usingTableau; experience working with external clients and other external stakeholders.

4-8 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree in a relevant field and experience in applied health services or population health research is also preferred.
