This position is Monday-Friday at our Richmond, VA office.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair 3D models, including corrupt files, misaligned scans, and faulty geometry
  • Perform stitching and assembly of multiple 3D scans into unified models
  • Analyze and assess model quality to identify root causes of issues and determine appropriate fixes
  • Utilize command-line tools, terminal environments, and scripting to diagnose and resolve technical problems
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve escalated model issues impacting customers
  • Assess and respond to customer issues related to 3D models, add-on features, subscriptions, and services

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited, not for profit, in-person university or college
  • 3+ years of experience in 3D modeling, 3D graphics, or technical 3D environments
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency with:
    • Terminal / command-line interfaces
    • Scripting or technical debugging workflows
  • Strong ability to analyze, diagnose, and repair 3D models
  • Proven problem-solving skills in complex, evolving technical scenarios
  • High attention to detail, particularly with complex geometry and spatial data issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers

Preferred Qualifications And Skills

  • Experience in industries such as gaming, VFX, simulation, architecture, or 3D visualization
  • Background in model cleanup, scene assembly, or multi-model stitching workflows
  • Familiarity with proprietary or non-GUI-based tools and systems
  • Experience working in technical support or post-production environments
  • Exposure to tools like Salesforce or similar ticketing/workflow systems
