Position Description

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead department-level and complex, enterprise-wide technology and transformation initiatives. You'll own and drive a portfolio of projects from concept through delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring projects land on time and within scope. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on bringing structure to ambiguity, improving processes, and knows how to get things done in a dynamic environment. This position reports to the Director of the Project Management Organization within the IT & Transformation Office.


Duties/Responsibilities

  1. Lead end-to-end project management for enterprise-wide technology initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
  2. Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and sponsors.
  3. Support software selection processes, including guiding business leadership in the decision-making process
  4. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and budgets
  5. Identify risks and dependencies; develop mitigation strategies and escalate issues appropriately
  6. Drive change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes
  7. Facilitate requirements gathering and documentation with business and technical teams
  8. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and project outcomes
  9. Communicate project status, milestones, and key decisions to stakeholders at all levels
  10. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams across multiple locations
  11. Travel for this position is up to 20% and will consist of overnight stays

Position Requirements

Qualifications

  1. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  2. Requires 7+ years of professional experience with minimum of 3+ years of project management experience with a track record of delivering complex department-level and enterprise-scale projects
  3. Strong background in technology and IT projects (software implementations, infrastructure, digital transformation, etc.)
  4. Demonstrated experience in change management, helping organizations adopt new tools, processes, or systems
  5. Solid skills in requirements definition and translating business needs into actionable project plans
  6. Experience driving process improvement initiatives
  7. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  8. Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity
  9. Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to details
  10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

  1. Experience with Project tracking software such as Smartsheet or Microsoft Project
  2. PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification
  3. Background in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies
