We are looking for a Construction Project Manager for our Columbus, OH office!

Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Project Manager with a strong background in building products, project management systems, and workflows. This role focuses on managing the project lifecycle from order entry through production and delivery, ensuring all components are manufactured, documented, and delivered accurately and on time. This role supports pre and postproduction customer needs, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and project efficiency.

Essential Duties:

• Meets and partners with customers and internal team members to understand project scope and system requirements.

• Organize, lead, and manage coordination between drafting, purchasing, engineering, and manufacturing teams to align production timelines with installation schedules.

• Create and manage order entries for IMP projects, ensuring all material quantities and specifications are captured accurately for procurement and production.

• Review and interpret shop drawings and submittals to verify material requirements and provide customer feedback.

• Oversee schedule development, project tracking, and milestone completion from order entry through delivery.

• Maintain accurate documentation of all project communications, schedules, change orders, and deliverables using ERP and project management systems.

• Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding order status, site delivery, and project progress.

• Assist procurement in the requirements for sourcing and scheduling of insulated metal panels and related materials.

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of job files, documentation, and closeout materials for customer delivery.

• Analyze project costs and material usage to ensure project profitability and efficiency.

• Lead and participate in internal meetings and customer calls, preparing updates, documentation, and reports as needed.

• Proactively address delays or issues in production or shipping to minimize project disruption.

• Learn and support customer-specific workflows and platforms, including portal updates and reporting requirements.

• Apply skills of effective communication, entrepreneurship, teamwork, values-based leadership, professional, and ethical behaviors that are the necessary complement to technical competence.

Education/Experience:

• Degree in project management, Construction Management, or Engineering preferred, PMP certification required

• 2-7 years' experience working with customers within a general or specialty contractor

• Ability to coordinate multiple projects under tight deadlines in a very fast-paced environment.

• Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-up skills

• Verifiable leadership experience and capabilities, with past successful project execution

• Working knowledge of necessary industry-related tools

• Proven ability to generate and deliver reports that provide useful insight into project details.

Computer Skills:

• Proficient in reading and analyzing technical drawings including but not limited to specifications, architectural, structural, and PEMB drawings.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Projects) and Outlook

• ERP and CRM software knowledge is recommended

Other Skills and Requirements:

• Up to 20% travel

• High level of interpersonal skills

• Pro-active personality with high energy, self-motivation, and strong decision-making skills

• Good to excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills

• Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.
