Complex Family Planning Section Chief
Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks a Complex Family Planning Section Chief. This opportunity allows the successful applicant to lead the CFP program and expand the Department's clinical and research expertise.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Complex Family Planning (CFP) program and oversee its clinical and research initiatives.
- Supervise the resident family planning rotation, including an early pregnancy management clinic, a dedicated contraception clinic, and operative experience at an ambulatory surgical facility.
- Coordinate faculty practice, teaching service, and contributions to medical student education.
- Collaborate with the College of Public Health and the departmentโs reproductive epidemiologist on research projects.
Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Successful completion of an accredited residency training program with a specialty in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- License to practice medicine in the State of Ohio.
- Current registration with the DEA.
- Fellowship training in complex family planning or equivalent experience.
