Job description

ARDMS Certified - General Ultrasound Technician
Full-Time | Competitive Pay
MLR is looking for a General Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer for a full-time, permanent position with a respected healthcare system in Southern/Southeastern Ohio! Job Functions:
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images in alignment with SDMS guidelines and Ohio Department of Health regulations.
  • Provide detailed sonographer's impressions and ensure inventory of supplies is adequately maintained.
  • Support the rotation of diagnostic imaging students and perform additional departmental responsibilities as assigned.
  • Attend at least 75% of monthly department meetings (9 per year).
  • Accurately enter orders and effectively use various computer systems, including Meditech, Chartmaxx, and iSite.
  • Engage in patient scheduling, participate in on-call rotations, and assist in training new staff members as required.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiologic Technology.
  • Current BLS certification is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and producing high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Adherence to RQI compliance standards.
