You will have the responsibility, authority, and knowledge necessary to develop and implement site-specific Health & Safety plans at a variety of complex project sites.The ideal candidate will bring working knowledge of H&S technicalcapability and deep understanding of business processes to help our clients proactively address their health and safety risks and challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical assistance on safety-related compliance projects; safety management system development and implementation; safety oversight, industrial hygiene monitoring; and safety auditing.

• Develop safety procedures, plans, permits, and reports.

• Assess regulatory compliance across various safety programs and environmental media.

• Perform compliance audits and implement follow-up corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Design and implement safety management systems and programs for clients.

• Conduct training, field coaching, and assessment for safety performance improvement projects.

• Provide on-siteH&Scompliance support at client facilities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in safety, occupational health, engineering, or related degree. Masters preferred.

• 3 to 7 years relevant consulting experience in working with significant industrial clients on regulatory compliance and sustainableH&Scompliance programs.

• Certification in field; ASP/CSP, CIH, PE, or similar registration highly desirable.

• Be passionate aboutsafetyperformance improvement and have working experience with the following H&S topics:

  • LOTO

  • Confined space

  • Hazard recognition

  • Scaffolding

  • Excavation

• Demonstrated ability to provide detailed regulatory interpretation of federal and state OSHA regulations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• MS Office Suite and database management for managing large volumes of data.
