Job description

ComResource is looking for a Senior Category Leader (Catering/Facilities).

Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall supplier management and sourcing strategy across a large, complex category with significant annual spend.
  • Oversee a broad supplier ecosystem across multiple geographies including the United States, Canada, Caribbean, and select international destinations, ensuring consistent service delivery.
  • Lead sourcing strategies within a highly decentralized, service-intensive category while balancing standardization, flexibility, and premium service expectations.
  • Drive supplier network optimization and rationalization initiatives to improve service consistency, pricing discipline, and operational scalability.
  • Partner with operations and customer experience teams to support enhanced service programs and rapidly address service failures or special requirements.
  • Own supplier performance management programs covering quality, timeliness, accuracy, service-level performance, and corrective action implementation.
  • Deliver measurable financial value through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
  • Manage a large portfolio of active supplier contracts, maintaining high levels of contract compliance, governance, supplier accountability, and risk mitigation.
  • Lead process improvement and capability development efforts focused on ordering efficiency, supplier coordination, pricing standardization, performance tracking, and stakeholder education on procurement best practices.
  • Manage significant operational, financial, and reputational risk associated with a mission-critical, customer-facing category requiring extensive cross-functional coordination and real-time issue resolution.

Essentials:

  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management across large, complex categories.
  • Experience managing significant annual spend portfolios and delivering measurable savings.
  • Experience managing large volumes of supplier contracts with strong governance and compliance oversight.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to partner across operations, finance, and customer experience teams.
  • Ability to manage and mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risk in a high-visibility category.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier performance management skills.
