Job description

Job Title: Requisitions & Orders Project Manager
Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid: Onsite Tuesday–Thursday, Remote Monday & Friday)
Contract Length: 6 Months (Strong possibility of extension)
Pay Rate: Up to $90/hour
Contract Type: W-2 Only (U.S. Citizens – No visa sponsorships)


Position Overview:

We are seeking a Requisitions & Orders Project Manager to support a large-scale PMO transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional expertise to drive the design and adoption of practical, scalable, and high-impact requisition and order management solutions. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the future-state processes meet operational needs and compliance standards while maximizing value delivery across the enterprise.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise in requisition and order management processes and tools.
  • Advise on process design, ensuring alignment with business operations and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure system configurations, workflows, and controls accurately reflect current and future operational needs.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define and implement scalable solutions that support organizational objectives.
  • Lead the assessment and validation of system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Support change management and adoption efforts related to new requisitions and order systems.
  • Monitor implementation outcomes to ensure performance and compliance goals are achieved.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and issue resolution across workstreams.


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in project or program management, with a strong focus on process optimization and systems implementation.
  • Proven expertise in requisitions, procurement, order management, or similar operational functions.
  • Strong understanding of business systems and workflows in enterprise environments.
  • Experience leading process design and system configuration efforts in large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience in the utilities industry is a plus.
