PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end execution of key projects, primarily New Product Development. The Project Manager will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in strict adherence to quality and performance standards. This role serves as the central point of command, bridging the gap between engineering, production, product management and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence and capital project success.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project Lifecycle Management: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Timeline and Schedule Oversight: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Gantt charts or critical path method (CPM) to ensure all milestones are met from inception to launch
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Lead multi-disciplinary teams across product management, engineering, supply chain, marketing, and production departments to ensure seamless communication and alignment on project objectives.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential bottlenecks or safety hazards within the manufacturing process and develop contingency plans to minimize impact on project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports to executive leadership, providing transparency into project health, resource utilization, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Keep Project Momentum: Be the primary driver for key action items to ensure they are completed in a timely manner and successfully transition steps between teams and functions.
  • Process Optimization: Evaluate and contribute to process improvement initiatives thatcreateefficiencies andacceleratesproject execution.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 4 Year College Degree - Engineering, Business or related. A PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly preferred.
  • 3+ years of project management experience specifically within a manufacturing, fabrication, or heavy industrial environment. Or 5-10 years related project management experience.
  • Adept user of Microsoft Office Suite tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of using different forms and methods of communication to keep global team members aligned on what is needed.
  • Exercise strong financial acumen to proactively manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring risk is minimized through strategic resource adjustments.
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes.
  • Assertive personality with a willingness to challenge assumptions andhold teams accountableto realistic, data-driven milestones.

WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Remote work optional
  • Travel (up to 10% for local candidates), including potential for international travel. For remote hires, travel up to 25-30%

The compensation range for this position is $88,200.00 - $132,200.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
