Title: National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits  

Work Mode: Remote Eastern Time Zone and Florida Only | Location/Supporting: Longwood, FL | Requirement/Experience:  5-7 years experience

About the Role: Responsible for leading and supporting IOA Benefits Group data analytics activities on a national scale, including data collection, analysis, interpretation, reporting, and client consultation. This role partners closely with the Senior Analytic Consultant, Producers, and Benefits teams to deliver data-driven insights that support underwriting evaluations, renewal negotiations, funding analyses, and strategic client decision-making. The National Analytic Consultant leverages analytics, technology, and industry expertise to support business growth, enhance client outcomes, and promote operational excellence. 

 
Key Responsibilities: 

  • Data Analytics & Interpretation: Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data to support client strategy and decision-making. 

  • Underwriting Support: Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations to support carrier pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses. 

  • Client Consulting: Deliver data-driven insights that help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance. 

  • Sales Support: Partner with Producers and Benefits teams by providing analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development initiatives. 

  • Reporting & Presentation Development: Create reports, dashboards, financial exhibits, and presentations that communicate complex information clearly and effectively. 

  • Analytics Process Management: Develop and maintain analytics methodologies, reporting standards, and best practices to improve consistency and results. 

  • Technology Optimization: Utilize and evaluate analytics, reporting, and business intelligence tools to enhance client outcomes and operational effectiveness. 

  • Performance Analysis: Analyze trends, benchmarking data, and financial metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and improved performance. 

  • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, reporting accuracy, analytical capabilities, and service delivery. 

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, Account Teams, carriers, and internal stakeholders to support client objectives. 

  • Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication regarding analytical findings, recommendations, and client activities. 

  • Training & Knowledge Sharing: Provide analytical guidance and support team development through knowledge sharing and subject matter expertise. 

  • Technical Expertise: Maintain knowledge of underwriting methodologies, funding arrangements, analytics tools, market trends, and industry best practices. 

  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and established analytical procedures. 

  • Champion IOA Values: Demonstrate integrity, leadership, accountability, and professionalism in all interactions. 

 
Ideal Candidate Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field 

  • Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles 

  • Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis 

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution-development skills 

  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook 

  • Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences

Salary Range

The expected pay range for this position is 155-170K annually, depending on experience, relevant skills, and geographic location.
