We are seeking a skilled PL/SQL Developer to join our team in the Columbus, Ohio area. This is a hybrid position requiring a combination of onsite and remote work. Please note that this role is not open to C2C, third-party vendors, or visa sponsorship.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and test complex database programs using PL/SQL.
Analyze, inspect, and document existing functionality within packages, functions, and procedures.
Ensure database programs meet current coding standards and best practices.
Perform SQL and application performance tuning to optimize system efficiency.
Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve production problems.
Create and maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
3–5 years of experience in an application development environment.
Strong proficiency in PL/SQL and Oracle database technologies.
Experience across the full software development life cycle, including analysis, design, testing, deployment, and support.
Familiarity with GitLab and SVN version control systems.
Working knowledge of Oracle Forms (preferred), Pro*C, shell scripting (basic), and tools such as SQL Developer or TOAD.
Introductory knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in team environments.
Experience with Oracle Retail.
Exposure to Oracle Cloud Database or Oracle Retail Product Suite.
Hybrid work model based in the Columbus, OH area.
Collaborative, team-oriented Agile environment.
