What You'll Do as a Public Safety Intelligence Analyst - Spanish Translator
• Research & analyze intelligence data translated from recorded or written materials & provide summarized reports;
• Provide language translation & interpretation during interviews &/or interrogations for investigative personnel & testify in court as to the accuracy of interpreted & translated material as needed;
• Prepare intelligence reports, products, & briefings for presentation to all public safety partners;
• Collect, research & analyze intelligence information & other resources to determine patterns, trends & movements of criminals to aid law enforcement agencies with investigators ;
• Identify & analyze informational databases, spreadsheets & reports allowing information to be easily exchanged & understood ;

Qualifications
OPTION 1:
36 mos. exp. conducting research & writing reports using operational, mathematical, analytical &/or statistical research techniques.
OPTION 2:
-Or completion of undergraduate core program in homeland security, political science, criminal justice, emergency management, public health, international affairs or related field;
AND 12 mos. exp. conducting research & writing reports using operational, mathematical, analytical &/or statistical research techniques.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
