Job description

Change Management Consultant - 100% Remote, 12-18 Month Contract

"You have a way of making change feel familiar, and you help me understand the 'why' behind it." - If anyone has told you this, please keep reading.

We're engaging a Change Management Consultant to assist our client as they undertake an enterprise ERP and digital transformation. They are an established regional distributor that has outgrown its current technology systems and has made the decision to invest in new tech that will drive growth, and they are smart enough to know that they need a dedicated Change Management specialist to make this work.

In this 12-18 month, fully remote, 40-hour per week (8 am - 5 pm EST) position, you'll report directly to their Interim CIO with the following mission:

  • Develop and execute practical change management strategies to support the digital transformation implementation.
  • Create communication plans, training materials, and readiness assessments for plant, warehouse, office, and leadership teams.
  • Partner with IT and functional leaders to ensure smooth adoption of ERP (Infor) across the organization.
  • Identify adoption risks early and address resistance with clear, actionable solutions.
  • Track progress, collect feedback, and adjust change management tactics as needed.
  • Communicate complex process changes in a simple, effective way for different audiences.
  • Take a hands-on approach by building plans, leading training, and following through to ensure successful results.

To be qualified, you must:

  • Have done dedicated enterprise change management work for several companies in the 50-100M revenue range
  • Have a full life cycle understanding of ERP and enterprise technology as a whole
  • Have thick skin and be willing to thrive within a fast-moving, tight deadline, and sometimes fluid environment.
  • Currently reside in the US (ideally EST)

We'll set up either a W2 or 1099 contract agreement with biweekly pay. No subcontractors or third parties, please.
