Job description

One of our clients is looking for the position of IT Security Analyst based on following skills

The following resource is required to support the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) cybersecurity, risk management, governance, compliance, and security operations initiatives. This resource will serve as a key security resource responsible for supporting enterprise security programs, vendor risk management, regulatory compliance, security operations, and cybersecurity governance across ODM applications, infrastructure, cloud services, and third-party environments.

Responsibilities and Detailed Day-To-Day Job Duties to be performed:

•         Cybersecurity, Risk Management & Compliance – Support ODM cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management initiatives by participating in security reviews, risk assessments, remediation coordination, compliance documentation, compliance reporting, audit readiness, and continuous monitoring activities to strengthen the agency''s overall security posture.

•         Security Governance & Vendor Risk Management – Support governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) initiatives by conducting vendor security reviews, third-party risk assessments, cloud security evaluations, and enterprise security assessments. Assist with remediation planning, security documentation, and coordination activities to ensure compliance with ODM security standards and applicable regulatory requirements.

•         Security Operations & Incident Support – Participate in security monitoring, incident response support, risk mitigation activities, and coordination efforts supporting ODM applications, infrastructure, enterprise systems, and third-party integrations. Assist with ongoing security operations activities to improve the agency''s cybersecurity posture.

•         Regulatory Compliance & Audit Support – Support compliance initiatives related to CMS, HIPAA, NIST, MARS-E/ARC-AMP-E, and other applicable federal and state security requirements. Assist with audit preparation, compliance documentation, remediation tracking, continuous monitoring, and ongoing governance activities to maintain ODM''s regulatory compliance obligations.

REQUIRED Skill Sets:

•         Required Education: BS/BA degree or combination of education & experience.

•         8+ years of experience as an Information Technology (IT) Security Analyst, experience working with security frameworks (NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27001, NERT, etc).

•         Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques

•         Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas to achieve a common business objective.

•         Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills, including ability to negotiate compromise and demonstrate diplomacy in sensitive situations as well as interact effectively with peers and management across diverse cultures and fast-paced environment.

DESIRED Skill Sets:

•         10+ years Information Technology technical experience.

•         1+ year procurement and vendor management experience.

•         Demonstrate effective leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.

•         Recognize patterns and opportunities for improvement throughout the entire organization.

•         Establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

The successful candidate may have to undergo a drug test and background check.
