Job description

Senior Technician / Lab Technician

We are hiring for a Pharmaceutical Quality Technician here in the Columbus, Ohio area. This role will include performing basic quality inspection of the products in the lab, handling inventory, and performing documentation. An ideal candidate for this role will have experience either working in a GMP or FDA regulated setting, or an Associates Degree or similar in a scientific field.

Shift: 1st Shift: M-F 7a-3:30p (can be flexible also open to someone working 9-5:30p)

Description:

In this role, you are walking around the facility, pulling samples and doing visual inspections/physical testing for shelf-life testing. You’ll be looking for color changes, separation, deterioration, label and cap cracks/dents, doing inventory management and shelf stocking.

• Ensures studies are placed on Stability according to cGMP, SOP's, work instructions, and FDA regulations.

• Applies knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, SOPs, and work instructions to ensure studies are started correctly and regulatory compliance is maintained.

• Performs daily stability sample pulling, and ensures appropriate laboratories receive sample on testing due dates

• Initiates and maintains stability studies through LIMS to support annual requirements.

• Maintains up to date inventory on all studies using LIMS.

• Initiates and coordinates destruction and reconciliation of non-class and class samples via LIMS.

• Pull samples from quality chambers, maintain retains, and sort samples

• Help with stocking, sorting, and tote samples

• Logging data into SAP, Labware, and Inventory Management

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or Associates Degree in a Science (or have gone through a GMP training program)

• Experience in GMP or FDA regulated environments, or equivalent education

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
