ABOUT THE COMPANY
We are an innovative visual content team committed to delivering engaging, high-impact video content across digital and social platforms. Our visual group prioritizes clear storytelling, strong visual pacing, and high production value, offering creative editors a collaborative environment to showcase their skills on ongoing projects.
ROLE PROFILE
We are seeking an editorially sharp, detail-oriented Video Editor to assemble and polish engaging video assets. In this project-based role, you will transform raw footage into sleek, high-performing 2-minute videos tailored for online audiences, ensuring smooth transitions, clean audio, and brand-consistent visual styling.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Edit and assemble raw video and audio assets into completed, high-quality 2-minute final cuts.
Apply basic color correction, audio leveling, noise reduction, and sound design to ensure clear quality.
Integrate text overlays, captions, lower thirds, logos, and motion graphics according to project guidelines.
Select and layer background music and sound effects to match the tone, mood, and pacing of the video.
Revise edits based on creative feedback while adhering to project turnaround deadlines.
Export and deliver final video files in optimized aspect ratios and formats for intended platforms.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Editing Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in short-form video editing (YouTube, social media, promo, or corporate content).
Software Proficiency: Expertise with professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut Pro).
Visual Pacing: Deep understanding of narrative flow, visual hooks, frame transitions, and timing.
Technical Setup: Access to a reliable, high-performance editing setup and stable internet for uploading video files.
Communication: Ability to follow detailed creative briefs, accept constructive feedback, and communicate project status clearly.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience creating dynamic motion graphics using Adobe After Effects.
Knowledge of platform-specific formatting trends (e.g., YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn).
COMPENSATION & DETAILS
Deliverable Rate: $20.00 per completed and approved 2-minute video.
Flexibility: Fully remote position with flexible working hours based on project availability.
