Job description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations by maintaining equipment reliability and minimizing downtime. This role plays a critical part in ensuring continuous production by executing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and performing timely repairs.

What You'll Do
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial production and packaging equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Maintain equipment such as mixers, conveyors, ovens, flow wrappers, and related machinery
  • Diagnose issues with PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems
  • Read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical documents to complete repairs
  • Partner with Production, QA, and Maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues quickly
  • Document maintenance work using a CMMS system
  • Follow all safety, food safety, and regulatory requirements including GMP, SQF, OSHA, and Lockout/Tagout procedures

  • Requires standing, lifting, and working with industrial machinery

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Technology, or related field
    OR 5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair:
    • Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Experience working with PLC systems (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider)
  • Working knowledge of 480V three-phase and low-voltage electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret:
    • Electrical schematics
    • Blueprints
    • Technical manuals and work orders
  • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment while following all safety and compliance protocols
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in food manufacturing or high-speed production environments
  • Knowledge of preventive and reliability-centered maintenance programs
  • Light fabrication, cutting, and welding experience
  • Strong troubleshooting mindset with the ability to work independently
