Job description

Hybrid Digital is an eCommerce apparel company located in Lewis Center. With over 40 years of industry experience, Hybrid Digital has cemented itself as one of the most dependable and trusted sources for on-demand print and fulfillment.

What is my role?

The DTG Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing equipment to ensure daily production goals, quality standards, and delivery timelines are consistently met. This role supports an efficient workflow, maintains equipment performance, and contributes to a safe, organized, and productive work environment. We have two available shifts:

NON-PEAK SEASON

  • Monday – Friday
  • Regular shift: 1st Shift 5am to 1:30pm, 2nd shift 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Occasional weekend work may be required based on business needs.


PEAK SEASON

  • Workdays and hours vary based on business demand.
  • May include weekends, extended shifts, and overtime.
  • Employees must be available for variable hours and days as workload increases.


What You'll Do

  • Operate DTG printing machines safely and efficiently to meet daily production targets.
  • Load and manage production batches/orders to maintain continuous workflow.
  • Monitor print jobs and inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Identify and correct print issues when possible, or escalate to leadership/maintenance as needed.
  • Perform machine setup, basic troubleshooting, daily testing, and routine equipment inspections.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs in a timely manner.
  • Support ink handling processes and maintain organized ink stations and work areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization across assigned production areas.
  • Follow all safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
  • Support team members as needed, including coverage during breaks and high-volume periods.
  • Communicate effectively with teammates, leads, and supervisors regarding production status or issues.
  • Participate in cross-training and perform multiple functions within the DTG area.
  • Assist in training new employees when assigned.
  • Monitor on-time orders throughout the shift to ensure production deadlines are met.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and quality.
