Job description

Enjoy helping others? Want to make an impact on the senior citizens in our community? The Senior Hub-Meals on Wheels OAAFC is seeking a part-time Homemaker to assist our clients in maintaining their homes.

The Senior Hub-Meals on Wheels of Fairfield County is a large, 501c3 nonprofit organization serving Fairfield County. The agency serves as the county’s office on aging providing programs and services to improve health, connection, and independent living for those 60 and older living in Fairfield County.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Perform in-home duties according to care plan instructions, work to include but not be limited to:

  • Changing bed linens
  • Laundry
  • Vacuuming
  • Dusting
  • Sweeping
  • Mopping
  • Washing dishes
  • Washing windows (indoor)
  • Cleaning & sanitizing bathrooms

*This position is 25-30 hours per week, Monday-Friday, as scheduled between the hours of 9a-3p*

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to daily lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds

Minimum 2 years of experience in routine homemaking & chores

18+ years of age

Valid Ohio driver’s license, safe driving record, and proof of insurance
