Job description

  • Analyze, interpret, negotiate, acquire, and prepare:
    1. Oil and Gas Leases
    2. Farmin/Farmout Agreements
    3. Joint Venture Agreements
    4. Joint Operating Agreements
    5. Participation Agreements
    6. Exploration Agreements
  • Examine and cure requirements set forth in drilling and division order title opinions
  • Supervise lease brokers and manage prospect lease acquisitions and associated expenditures

  • Landman with 5+ years of in-house oil and gas industry experience, preferably including work in the Appalachia Basin
  • Experience in drafting a wide range of agreements, including Operating Agreements (O/A), Farmin (F/I), and Farmout (F/O) Agreements
  • Proven ability to supervise brokers, acquire leases, and cure title issues
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to work collaboratively on multiple projects in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree required; Petroleum Land Management (PLM) degree preferred
 
This position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
