Eastern Regional Dedicated Class A CDL Driver

Job Summary

The Eastern Regional Dedicated driver will operate dry van equipment on established lanes within a defined regional network, delivering freight to consistent customer sites. This role is ideal for a professional driver seeking dependable weekly earnings, regular home time, and a steady dedicated account.

Required Qualifications
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Must reside within 80 miles of the designated hiring area near Columbus Ohio.
  • Clean driving record and ability to meet company safety standards.
  • Ability to operate dry van equipment and handle both day and night shift assignments.
  • Strong understanding of DOT regulations and Hours of Service requirements.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely and efficiently across assigned Eastern Regional Dedicated lanes, including both day and night shifts as scheduled.
  • Transport dry van freight to designated customer sites, ensuring on-time pickup and delivery.
  • Maintain compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS) rules and 34-hour restarts.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
  • Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding load status, delays, or route changes.
  • Complete accurate paperwork, including delivery receipts, logs, and any required documentation.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while operating company equipment.
  • Manage occasional loads outside the core operating area while returning promptly to the primary regional zone.
