Job Summary:

They are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement software solutions, participating in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) while collaborating with project managers and business analysts.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and implement software solutions.
• Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices.
• Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules.
• Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues.
• Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications.
• Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows.
• Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Master's degree in Information Systems Technologies, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Application Developer, or related occupation.
• Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Technologies, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Application Developer, or related occupation.
• One (1) year of experience with developing information technology and applications throughout the development lifecycle using application server platforms including Apache Tomcat, SQL, Oracle, and Cassandra.
• One (1) year of experience with developing applications in Java.
• One (1) year of experience with performing web development using J2EE, core APIs, web services, multithreaded and concurrent programming, XML, design patterns, and service-oriented architecture.
• One (1) year of experience with implementing microservices using Spring Boot and event-driven architecture.
• One (1) year of experience with sending and receiving messages for web applications using event streaming platforms with Apache Kafka or IBM messaging queue.
• One (1) year of experience with implementing enterprise systems using domain-driven design.
• One (1) year of experience with building cloud-based web applications using AWS and Azure.
• One (1) year of experience with developing web APIs using Java with REST, JSON, and XML.
• One (1) year of experience with developing microservices using Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• One (1) year of experience with limiting access for web applications using authentication protocols including OAuth2.
• One (1) year of experience with performing behavior-driven development using automation testing frameworks including Cucumber and JUnit with Gherkin language.
• One (1) year of experience with performing unit testing using JUnit and Mockito.
• One (1) year of experience with mocking downstream calls or database interactions using mock testing frameworks such as EasyMock or Mockito.
