Job description

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Hospice Volunteers in the New Albany area. We have several patients in the area with a large need for patient companions.

As a hospice volunteer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients and their families. Volunteers provide companionship and emotional support in a variety of settings.

Suncrest Hospice is dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life care to individuals and support to their families. We offer a range of services to ensure comfort, dignity, and quality of life during this challenging time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Provide short periods of respite care to give family caregivers a break.
  • Assist with light tasks to ease the mind of patients.
  • Participate in patient care plans and attend training sessions.

Training and Support:
