Job Title: QA Calibration Specialist / Calibration Engineer
Location: Columbus, OH

We are seeking an experienced QA Calibration Specialist / Calibration Engineer to support calibration, metrology, and validation activities in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotech environment. The ideal candidate will ensure equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and support commissioning and qualification activities across manufacturing, utilities, and QC laboratories.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of calibration and metrology experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries
  • Strong knowledge of GMP/GLP regulations, CAPA, OOT investigations, and IQ/OQ/PQ documentation
  • Experience calibrating pressure, temperature, flow, humidity, conductivity, HVAC/BMS, autoclaves, lyophilizers, and analytical instruments
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and instrumentation diagrams
  • Experience with Blue Mountain or similar CMMS/calibration software
  • Strong technical documentation and cross-functional communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Metrology, or a related field

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience supporting commissioning, qualification, and validation activities
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations and NIST traceability standards
  • Ability to collaborate with QA, Engineering, Facilities, Validation, and Manufacturing teams
