Job description

Assistant/Associate Program Director, Family Medicine Residency Program at OhioHealth Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

OhioHealth is seeking an Assistant/Associate Program Director to join our Family Medicine Residency Program at Doctors Hospital. This is an outstanding opportunity for a physician passionate about graduate medical education, leadership, and mentoring the next generation of family physicians.

Description:

  • Responsibilities include patient visits, precepting, didactics, and administrative duties. Research and committee opportunities available.

  • Inpatient academic service

  • Outpatient precepting participation

  • Faculty patient panel

  • Newborn service experience

  • The ideal candidate will have an interest in leadership development and mentoring residents.

  • Position is a blend of inpatient and outpatient with flexibility to practice one or the other if desired.

  • Seeking strong OMM clinical and teaching experience, and strong osteopathic principles and practice.

  • Doctors Hospital has a strong emphasis on the osteopathic program and is recognized by the ACGME.
