PATIENT INFORMATION
  • Patient Demographics: Inpatients, Outpatients, STAT
  • Patient Volume/Census: ~60-100 cases/day with aim of ~50% cross sectional
  • Case Mix: General Radiology, Level II Trauma, Inpatient & Outpatient
FACILITY INFORMATION
  • Trauma Level: Level II
  • EMR System: EPIC, PACS (AGFA EI), Voice Recognition (Powerscribe 360)
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • Required Modalities
    • General CT (unenhanced head and C-spine/level II trauma included)
    • Ultrasound (including 1st Trimester)
    • X-ray
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Subspecialty fellowship training
  • Procedures (if able to perform)
    • Basic CT/US-guided procedures (abscess drainages, biopies, chest tubes, thyroid FNA)
    • Fluoroscopy (joint injections/aspirations) - beneficial, not required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active Ohio license or Universal License (IMLC)
  • Board: BC - American Board of Radiology
  • Certifications: ACLS (American Heart Association) if performing procedures
  • Other Qualifications: Must present NPDB self-query (within last 6 months)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide general diagnostic radiology coverage including CT, US, and X-ray interpretation.
  • Perform basic CT/US-guided procedures (abscess drainages, biopsies, chest tubes, thyroid FNA) as needed.
  • Read cases from old-to-new for each section (inpatients, outpatients, STATs) to prevent cherry-picking.
  • Maintain productivity of 7 wRVU/hr or equivalent based on daily workflow assignment.
  • Utilize EPIC EMR, AGFA EI PACS, and Powerscribe 360 for documentation and workflow.
