Job description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding summer role as an Intervention Specialist, supporting a high school student’s academic growth during the Extended School Year session. This contract assignment in Dublin, OH, is designed for dedicated professionals ready to deliver 1:1 instruction focused on the student’s math goals as outlined in their IEP. The opportunity offers a structured but flexible schedule, with morning hours designed to fit the ESY program’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 20 hours of individualized instruction spread across June, primarily in the mornings from 8:00–10:00 AM.
  • Work closely with the student to address math objectives specified in the IEP, delivering targeted, student-centered lessons.
  • Track and document student progress, submitting updates and reports to the district as required.
  • Collaborate with district staff to ensure continuity and effectiveness of instructional strategies.
  • Support the student’s learning by adapting materials and approaches, ensuring meaningful engagement and measurable progress.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid ODE Certification as an Intervention Specialist or related role.
