Job Title:Post Doctoral ScholarDepartment:Arts and Sciences | Office of the Deans

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry within the College of Arts and Sciences, seeks a Post Doctoral Scholar to perform independent research in Analytical Separation Science and Mass Spectrometry. Post Doctoral Scholars are expected to lead analyses critical to the research program and to take initiative in contributing to the design of experiments involving enhanced-fluidity liquid chromatography-electrospray mass spectrometry. Duties will include taking and analyzing data, writing manuscripts to publish results in peer-reviewed journals, and supporting group activities through collaborative service work.

Required: Doctoral Degree in Analytical Chemistry with specialization in separation science -mass spectrometry or related areas required. Demonstrated experience in life cycle analysis for separation science are required.

Desired: Research interest in statistical data analysis is desired. Strong software skills in Excel and Minitab or other statistical software desired.
