Job description

Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring an experienced Masonry Foreman to join our dynamic construction team in the Columbus area. This is a Direct Hire position day one with contractor. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in managing masonry projects, ensuring quality workmanship, and leading a crew of skilled masons.

Job Title: Masonry Foreman

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Masonry Foreman to lead and manage masonry crews on commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for coordinating labor, equipment, and materials to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead masonry crews of up to 25 employees on active job sites
  • Read, interpret, and work from electronic drawings, plans, and project specifications
  • Review project schedules and ensure work is completed in accordance with deadlines
  • Plan and allocate labor, equipment, and resources to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Attend project meetings and provide progress updates as required
  • Communicate project needs, challenges, and progress to upper management and project managers
  • Complete daily reports, including work logs and progress photos
  • Identify job site issues and collaborate with project team members to resolve them
  • Support and enforce job site safety policies and assist with safety inspections

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in commercial masonry construction
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage crews and coordinate with project managers
  • Positive attitude, dependable attendance, and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
