Operations Manager | Mason, MI

Salary Range: $105,000 - $152,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to schedules.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize productivity and quality.
• Manage inventory levels and supply chain logistics to prevent disruptions and minimize costs.
• Lead and mentor a team of production supervisors and line workers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to achieve operational targets.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, and supply chain processes
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES)
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficiency in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience with supply chain optimization and vendor management.
