Location: Pataskala, Ohio.
Pay Range: $18- 22/hr. (Based on experience)
Monday - Friday, 1st Shift (Flexible)
40hrs/wk. (ability to work overtime, when needed)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Fabrication Tech. This position is responsible for measuring, calculating, fabricating, and bending standing seam metal roofing panels, trim, gutters and flashing components to precise specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience working with sheet metal equipment, understand roofing concepts and geometry, and take pride in producing high-quality finished products.
Day to Day
  • Measure and calculate dimensions for standing seam roofing panels, trim, and flashing.
  • Fabricate and bend standing seam metal roofing panels using specialized equipment.
  • Operate metal brakes, bending equipment, shears, and other fabrication machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Bend and form custom flashing, trim, and roofing accessories to project specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and field measurements.
  • Verify dimensions and inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and customer deadlines.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Skill Set
  • Experience measuring, calculating, and fabricating sheet metal products.
  • Ability to operate metal brakes and bending equipment.
  • Understanding of standing seam metal roofing systems and components.
  • Knowledge of flashing fabrication and bending techniques.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong math, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to lift materials and work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Previous experience in standing seam metal roofing fabrication.
  • Roofing or gutter installation experience.
  • Experience fabricating custom flashing and trim profiles.
  • Familiarity with construction industry terminology and practices.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate fabrication equipment and hand tools.
