Wealth Management – PLP Modification Documentation Analyst
Location: Columbus, OH
Work Arrangement: 100% onsite, Monday–Friday
Schedule: Approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25.71/hr W2
Duration: 6-month contract
Overtime: May be required
Interview: One Zoom interview with at least two interviewers
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
Position Overview
The PLP Modification Documentation Analyst will prepare loan-modification packages for the Professional Loan Program within Wealth Management. The analyst will review approved credit requests, enter approved loan terms, perform KYC-related reviews, and ensure modification documents accurately reflect the approved transaction structure.
The position requires previous experience in a loan documentation, lending, credit, or underwriting-support environment. The analyst must possess strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage documentation through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Review approved credit requests, transaction structures, loan terms, covenants, and supporting documentation.
- Enter approved loan terms accurately into applicable lending and workflow systems.
- Prepare complete and accurate loan-modification packages.
- Ensure modification documents align with approved credit terms and internal standards.
- Review commercial credit documents and loan documents for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Complete applicable KYC reviews and verify required due-diligence documentation.
- Confirm that pre-closing conditions and documentation requirements have been satisfied.
- Perform detailed quality reviews before modification packages are delivered to clients.
- Identify discrepancies between approved terms, supporting documents, and loan-system records.
- Partner with Credit, Underwriting, Lending, Compliance, Legal, and Sales teams to resolve documentation issues.
- Monitor outstanding documentation and follow through until completion.
- Manage an individual pipeline of loan-modification transactions.
- Provide clear status updates and escalate documentation or operational risks.
- Respond to requests received through the team inbox.
- Meet established turnaround, accuracy, quality, and service expectations.
- Support peer reviews, training, process documentation, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a loan documentation, lending, credit operations, underwriting-support, or comparable loan-processing environment.
- Experience preparing, reviewing, or processing commercial credit documents or loan documents.
- Ability to interpret approved credit terms and accurately enter loan information.
- Familiarity with KYC reviews, AML requirements, entity validation, or lending due diligence.
- Strong document-review, quality-control, and accuracy skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency, including:
- VLOOKUP
- XLOOKUP
- PivotTables
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Columbus five days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience preparing loan-modification packages.
- Commercial lending or wealth-management lending experience.
- Private banking or private wealth management exposure.
- Experience supporting loan officers, credit officers, or underwriters.
- Experience with pre-closing conditions and legal loan documents.
- Microsoft Access proficiency.
- Experience performing peer quality reviews.
- Experience maintaining a high-volume loan pipeline.

Disqualifiers

- General banking or customer-service experience without hands-on loan-documentation exposure.

- Inability to accurately interpret and enter loan terms.
- Inability to work onsite in Columbus five days per week.
