Technology Manager
Role Information
Location:Columbus Metro Region (Columbus, New Albany, Reynoldsburg)
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours per week

You, Our Ideal Candidate
The Technology Specialist provides technology support and customer service to associates, residents, and organizational leaders throughout Life Enriching Communities. This position serves as a trusted technology partner, ensuring that systems, devices, and applications operate reliably while supporting LEC"s mission of enriching lives through expectational service and meaningful relationship.

Technology Support
  • Provide first- and second-level support for hardware, software, network, telecommunications, and business applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve technology issues in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and support computers, mobile devices, printers, and related technology systems.
  • Assist with user account creation, software deployment, and access management.
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications, collaboration tools, and other enterprise systems.
  • Document support activities, resolutions, and procedures according to departmental standards
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors as appropriate.

Associate Experience
  • Deliver friendly, responsive, and respectful support experiences for all associates
  • Provide technology training, guidance, and education to help associates maximize technology investments.
  • Promote confidence and comfort with technology through patience, effective communication, and follow-through.
  • Assist in onboarding new associates by preparing and deploying technology resources.
  • Support technology initiatives that improve communication, collaboration, and productivity

Resident & Customer Experience
  • Support resident-facing technology services and systems as assigned.
  • Assist residents with technology-related questions as needed while demonstrating patience, respect, and compassion.
  • Contribute to technology solutions that enhance safety, communication, engagement, and quality of life.

Infrastructure & Operations
  • Assist with the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of technology infrastructure
  • Participate in hardware refreshes, software deployments, and technology projects
  • Help maintain accurate asset inventories and technology documentation
  • Support systems updates, testing, and maintenance activities
  • Assist with vendor coordination and service request when directed

Cybersecurity & Compliance
  • Follow established cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance standards
  • Assist with implementing security measures and best practices
  • Identify and report potential security concerns promptly.
  • Support cybersecurity awareness and safe technology usage throughout the organization.
  • Protect sensitive resident, customer, and associate information.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • One to three years of technical support or IT experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, networking concepts, and hardware support.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
  • Experience supporting healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or customer service environments preferred
  • Experience in Microsoft 365 administration and collaboration technologies
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy principles
  • Relevant technical certifications.
