Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

 

As a Lead Bartender, your top priority is to support your team members and management team to ensure every guest receives exceptional service while being the lead in your assigned area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Support day to day bar operations as directed by management
  • Deliver exceptional beverage service in accordance with company standards
  • Follow proper cash handling procedures
  • Respond to and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise on shift by escalating issues to management
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the entire bar.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of our menu, cocktail recipes, and current promotions.
  • Respond appropriately to shift issues or guest concerns and escalate matters to manager
  • Certify team members are pouring and ringing in drinks properly in the POS, and communicate concerns to management
  • Anticipate needs of guests and colleagues, assist without having to be asked.
  • Perform pre-opening or closing duties of location as assigned by manager

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

  • High-volume bartending experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional guest service in a fast paved environment
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, standing, and/or lifting heavy items for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
  • Current Floor Managers preferred
