Job description

This role will support the Consumer sector and is regionally based. The position follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation of onsite presence at a regional office or operational site approximately two days per week.

The role also requires flexibility, including up to 30% travel annually, to support deployments and continuous improvement initiatives.


Supports the sector Innovation team agenda of business planning, organization development, reporting, analysis and administration of DHL Supply Chain (DSC) various projects in digital solutions including robotics, augmented reality and advanced optimization applications by providing analytical support, including owning various projects within the Sector. Supports DHL Supply Chain (DSC) businesses by supporting innovation projects that are the focus of the Sector.

Operations Development

  • Coordinate with NORAM DSC team to drive the Sector innovation agenda
  • Assist innovation projects that will accelerate operations performance, supporting targeted revenue and profit growth
  • Actively participate in Accelerated Digitalization process from idea creation, to delivery, and ongoing performance monitoring
  • Collaborate with the Sector and vendors to drive research, pilot, and deployment of Accelerated Digitalization solutions


Sector Operations Reporting, Analysis, Administration

  • Support Sector Innovation reporting and presentations
  • Assist with completion in reporting and analysis related to targeted and deployed innovations, including both scheduled and as needed requests, including working with DHL systems and engaging with sites to gather data
  • Provide support for key business insights that lead to improved operational efficiency through innovated solutions, both at the site level and region-wide

Strategic Planning

  • Provide assistance for strategic innovation projects including conducting primary and secondary research, completing data summation and analytics, preparing presentations, presentation of key findings, and general support.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field
  • 0-3 years of experience with supply chain industry and processes-either full time or academic internship
