Job description

A Dispensary Technician/Pilot Plant Associate role is available courtesy of Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting pilot plant batching operations and material handling activities within a fast-paced manufacturing and laboratory environment. This role assists with pilot batch preparation, equipment setup and cleaning, inventory management, raw material staging, and maintaining organized storage areas while ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, safety, and health standards.

Location: Clark, NJ (onsite)
Employment Type: Minimum 6-month temporary/contract assignment (possible extension)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25.74/hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pilot plant batching and material handling operations

  • Setup equipment, instruments, and stage raw materials and supplies for pilot batches

  • Maintain records related to pre-weighed batches and adjustment materials

  • Manage data entry and information processing using web-based systems

  • Maintain pilot bulk and component storage areas, including Kardex and flammable storage

  • Label excess raw materials and bulk materials for destruction and disposal in accordance with cGMP and environmental guidelines

  • Clean and sanitize equipment while maintaining washroom organization and cleanliness

  • Assist with warehouse inventory management and organization

  • Perform analytical testing including pH, viscosity, and specific gravity testing as needed

  • Support additional operational tasks and projects assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related scientific field

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, pilot plant, laboratory, or process equipment environment

  • Recent graduates with relevant internship or laboratory experience will also be considered

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow technical processes and procedures

  • Strong computer literacy and data entry skills

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Pay Details: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour
