Can you intern as a pilot?

Internships for pilot engineers typically involve gaining experience in aviation technology, aircraft systems, and flight operations. However, actual piloting roles usually require a commercial pilot license and extensive training, so internships generally focus on supporting roles or technical training rather than flying aircraft. Aspiring pilots often pursue flight training and certifications separately from engineering internships.
