Job description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist (Special Education Teacher) to support a high school caseload in the Reynoldsburg, Ohio area for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time role focuses on providing targeted academic and behavioral support to students in a structured school environment. This opportunity is ideal for educators experienced in special education services, IEP development, and intervention strategies, with a preference for those with math intervention experience.
Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday
  • 2026–2027 school year (August 12, 2026 – May 21, 2027)
  • High school caseload (~24 students)
  • Potential middle school placement (~20 students)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver targeted academic interventions, including math support when applicable
  • Support students with learning disabilities, behavioral needs, and skill development
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff
  • Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with IDEA and Ohio state guidelines
  • Foster a structured and supportive classroom environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Ohio Intervention Specialist License (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
