Job description

Construction Project Manager – Data Center Design & Delivery

Location: Ashville, OH or New Albany, OH

Help shape the next generation of hyperscale data centers.

We're looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to serve as the on-site liaison between our Design Engineering team and construction partners, ensuring world-class data center projects are delivered exactly as intended.

This is a unique opportunity for someone with mission-critical construction experience who enjoys being involved beyond day-to-day project management. You'll be the eyes and ears of the engineering team in the field, partnering closely with contractors to ensure complex mechanical and electrical systems are built in accordance with design intent while helping drive projects from design through commissioning and operational handover.

If you're looking for a role with greater ownership, closer collaboration with engineering, and the opportunity to grow alongside a rapidly expanding data center developer, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Represent the Design Engineering team throughout construction, ensuring design intent is accurately executed in the field.
  • Partner with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to deliver large-scale hyperscale data center projects safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Review construction progress, identify technical issues, and coordinate solutions with engineering and project stakeholders.
  • Monitor installation of critical mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring quality, reliability, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Support commissioning, operational readiness, and final turnover to operations.
  • Manage project schedules, risks, budgets, and reporting while maintaining strong communication across all stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience delivering large-scale data center or other mission-critical construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of critical MEP systems, including electrical distribution, generators, UPS, HVAC, chilled water, CRAH/CRAC, and fire protection systems.
  • Experience overseeing projects from design through construction, commissioning, and turnover.
  • Ability to work independently while building strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with hyperscale or Tier III/Tier IV data center projects.
  • PMP certification or similar project management credentials are a plus.

Why Join Us?

  • Make an impact. Play a key role in delivering some of the industry's most advanced data center campuses.
  • Work closely with engineering. Influence projects from design through execution—not just construction.
  • Enjoy autonomy. Take ownership of projects and help drive technical decisions in the field.
  • Grow your career. Join a rapidly expanding organization with significant opportunities for advancement as new campuses and projects come online.
