Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections of the tractor‑trailer, completing the required DOT inspection report.
  • Verify the bill of lading and secure any required keys for off‑hour deliveries.
  • Operate the tractor‑trailer to customer sites, adhering to commercial driving regulations and demonstrating safe maneuvering on public roads and at client facilities.
  • Maintain an accurate driver log (manual or electronic) in line with DOT rules, recording delivery confirmations, product temperatures, and any exceptions.
  • Unload cargo and place products within the customer’s premises as directed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications You’ll Bring
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Current, valid Class A commercial driver’s license.
  • At least one year of experience or 50,000 verifiable miles operating a tractor‑trailer.
  • Pass the organization’s motor‑vehicle‑record and risk‑rating standards.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and comprehending English sufficient to follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and communication requirements.
