Job description

As the Advanced Heart Failure Physician at OhioHealth, you will receive the support needed to balance your personal and professional goals and impact our mission of improving the health of those we serve.

Description:

  • Riverside Methodist Hospital is home to the largest open heart surgery program in central Ohio.
  • Large system-based Heart & Vascular service line with 100 Cardiologists
  • 9 heart failure clinics throughout OhioHealth that feed into Riverside Methodist Hospital s AHF Clinic
  • Approximate call rotation of 1:5 weeks for inpatient coverage; other weeks will be outpatient clinic Monday through Friday with day for procedures and day for admin time
  • Precept IM/FM residents and/or Cardiology fellows during inpatient service weeks
  • Procedures include left/right heart caths, cardio MEMS, CPEX, percutaneous pumps (if desired)
  • Dedicated heart hospital and CVICU/MICU
  • Direct access to cath lab and imaging
  • Competitive salary

Requirements:

  • BC/BE Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant
  • Experience with LVAD, cardiac transplant, and acute MCS.
  • Interest in clinical research as well as quality improvement
