Job description

The responsibility of Radiology Technician is to prepare patients for radiological procedures, taking x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.

  • Full Time/Benefits Eligible
  • Schedule - Monday - Friday - 8:00am-4:30pm
  • Reynoldsburg, OH                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Use a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials as well as various media.
  • Ensure equipment is in working order and reports malfunctions to appropriate person(s).
  • Process routine paperwork as necessary.
  • Maintain examination rooms, stocks necessary medical and radiologic supplies.
  • Attend required staff and educational meetings.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 Requirements:

  • Completion of course in Radiologic Technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist
  • Current Ohio Department of Health Radiology license
