Familiarity with industry-standard software, systems, and, in some cases, professional certifications (such as PE or PMP) are often required. To manage these, it's important to communicate openly with HR about work authorization requirements, stay informed about changes in immigration policy, and seek support from professional or cultural networks. Many employers offer resources and legal assistance to help H-1B employees with compliance, so leveraging these can reduce stress and ensure a smoother transition.
