Job description

Job Title

Rate of $18.50

4 X 10 work schedule (M, Tu, W, F) Possibility of some OT Load and unload grain trucks. Set up and run facility equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Basic house keeping including sweeping and shoveling of grain. Otherwise to include all general job tasks required at ADM Grain Elevators.

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent is preferred
  • Class B license with airbrakes or CDL if not currently in possession, will need to obtain within 6 months of being hired

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate truck dump
  • Load and unload grain trucks
  • Operate MCC controls for equipment
  • Perform maintenance on grain conveying equipment
  • Keep work area clean
  • Measure bins
  • Fumigation of grain
  • Operation of bulk weighing equipment
  • Operation of bin temperature monitoring equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs
  • Ability to adapt to ever changing job responsibilities
  • Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
  • Willing to work overtime, weekends and nights
  • Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed
  • Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude
