Bridgeway Academy and Therapy Center is seeking an Administrative Assistant-Receptionist who will greet and direct visitors at our location 1350 Alum Creek Dr. Columbus, OH 43209. The successful candidate will have a professional and friendly disposition to include answering the phone in a pleasant and respectful manner. The available shift is Monday through Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm.
Duties will include:

• Answering basic questions about Bridgeway Academy and Therapy Center and re-directing callers or visitors to respective departments.
• Greeting guests and allowing appropriate parties access to the building.
• Use an internal communication system to call for students who are late arriving/early release.
• Calling families or transportation service when late for pick up.
• Receiving payments/giving receipts, filing, handling and redirecting mail to the appropriate individuals.
• Make client confirmation/cancellation calls and provide new client paperwork in person or via email.
• Ensure the reception area is tidy.
• Support Business Office staff with administrative tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enjoys working in a fast paced environment and will be able to work additional hours when required. They must be reliable with the ability to function independently and enjoy working in a team and school environment. They will have good written and technical skills using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workplace. Will be familiar with HIPAA and have the ability to maintain confidential information regarding clients and students.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED with prior experience working as a Receptionist in a medical office or childcare environment preferred. EOE
